Interested parents of the YMCA program must complete all necessary paperwork and contact the program director of the desired program to ensure space availability.
Steps to Register for Preschool and Before & After School
- Contact Program Director to ensure space is available for your child.
- Complete Program Registration Form.
- Complete Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form.
- Complete a Payment Option Form.
- Pay the Registration Fee for the program desired.
- Pay the Preschool registration fee of $45.00, $65.00 per family.
- Pay the Before and After School registration fee of $25.00 and $40.00 per family.
Steps to Register for Summer Day Camps
- Pay the $50 Supply fee.
- Pay the $5 non refundable, non transferable deposit for each week your child is attending camp. (This deposit is part of the total camp fee and is not an additional charge.)
- Complete Program Registration Form.
- Complete Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form.

Important things to remember for Summer Day Camp Registration
- No camper will be considered registered until we have received the deposit, registration fee and required forms.
Refunds/ Cancelations
Tuition will not be reimbursed once the session has started. To receive a full refund (minus the deposit fee) you MUST notify the YMCA in writing of cancellation the Friday prior to the start of a session in which your child is unable to participate.
Child Care Scholarships
Financial Assistance is provided to all qualifying families. The YMCA does not turn anyone away for inability to pay. Please keep in mind that it takes two weeks (10 business days) to process your application. Please see the Financial Assistance section for more information.
All forms MUST be completed before your child starts the program.
